1. Who we are

2. The core principle: your images never leave your device

Logo2Favicon generates favicons and app icons inside your browser. The logo you upload is read into memory locally, transformed locally, and packaged into a ZIP locally. We never receive, transmit, store, or have access to your images. There is no image upload, no server-side processing, and no account.

3. Data we process

• Consent preference. If you make a choice in our cookie banner, we store a single key (cookie-consent) in your browser's local storage so we can remember it. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Aggregate, cookieless analytics. Where permitted, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand traffic (e.g. page views, referrers, country, device type). It is privacy-friendly by design: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect data that identifies you personally.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) for security and to deliver the site. This is necessary to operate any website.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

• Operating the website & security - our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Analytics - your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. If you opt out, no analytics are loaded.

5. Hosting and processors

This site is hosted on Vercel Inc. Vercel acts as our hosting and analytics processor and may process technical data on servers that can be located outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.

6. Data retention

Your consent preference remains in your browser until you clear it or change it. Aggregate analytics are retained only in anonymized, non-identifying form. We hold no personal files from you because none are ever uploaded.

7. Your rights under the GDPR / Swiss FADP

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or your local EU data protection authority. 8. Your rights under the CCPA/CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. We also honor browser-based opt out signals: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal (for example in Brave, DuckDuckGo, or via a privacy extension), we automatically treat it as a valid opt-out and disable analytics for you - no banner action required. You will never be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

10. Children

This service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
